Card Patterns #33 - It's Your Day
I needed to make a birthday card for my friend Lisa. She and I moved from Idaho to Oregon and have known each other since junior high school. A mutual friend we work with is having a little party for her next Sunday. So I used card patterns #33 to make the card. I started out making the just black and white card and then tried one with a little more color. I had this pink and red ribbon so I just went from there! I am still in a pickle about which one to give her!
I just have to say this is one asesome sketch this week! I had a great time with it!
Thanks for stopping buy!

2 Sketches 4 You and some Disney Autograph Books
This week Kazan did the sketch and she also asked us to used inspiration. She used furniture but I used a necklace that had blues and browns in it (I had also seen a bedspread in a Penney's add but I had already recycled it). It is a cool color combo! I used one of the cutting cafe's printable calendar stamps on this. This card is for a man in my office. It turned out very muted but someone said, he is an understated man and it was perfect. I hope he likes it!
We went to Disneyland in July and I made each of the kids 2 autograph books - one for the princess type characters and one for the others. They were nearly filled up so I'm glad I did them ~ there are 12 pages in each! We did have BBQ with Woody and Jessie from Toy Story, Breakfast with Minnie, and then Dinner with the princesses so that helped to fill them up!
I'm Back! Card Patterns Sketch #30
I can't believe it has been 2 months since I've posted something! I did make 22 cards and 4 disney autograph books between then and now (I will post the autograph books soon) but I've been super busy!
We went on 2 vacations! In July, we went to Disneyland for 5 days and also visited my sister in the San Jose area and went to Great America and to San Fransisco. Then in August we visited my parents in Lewiston, Idaho and went to Wallowa, Oregon; Spokane; Washington; and Dworshack Dam while we were there along with an acquatic center and mini-golfing in Clarkston, WA.
While we weren't out having fun, I was cleaning and reorganizing ~ I even done some real disgusting stuff like cleaning the gutters! I've still got more organizing to go but I'm feeling good about having things sort of in order before school starts (here it starts after labor day).
Enough with all the reasons I haven't been around! This week there were 2 gentlemen in my office with birthdays so I made cards! This one uses card patterns #30. I used a calendar printable stamp and circle sentiment printable stamp from the cutting cafe. I was worried about the flower and the bling for a man but he seemed to like it! Yeah!
Thanks for taking a look! I'll be back doing more cards when we get back in our regular routine!
