2 Sketches 4 You and Pink Elephant #51

I loved Laura's sketch #44 at 2 Sketches 4 You this week! I actually used it twice today! Both cards are here!

The first one is a birthday card for someone in my office that has birds. I love this little birdcage from the cricut songbird cartridge!

The next card is a valentine card that also uses the elements from the Pink Elephant challenge #51 (pink, polka dots, and bow).

I'm scrapping with my friends today so I'll be back working on Disneyland layouts in just a few minutes!

Sweet Summer Door Hanger (BBTB Contest and Card Patterns Sketch #22)

I have really been having a good time making Door Hangers instead of cards! They are a bit bigger than a card and you can incorporate a sketch into them so well!

For this one I used the Card Patterns Sketch #22. I love to try their sketches! I'm going on vacation next week so I'm trying to get my fill of scrapping and card making in now!!!

Bitten By the Bug has a contest going on right now where you need to have:

**a summer theme

**cuts from any cricut cartridge (I used Lyrical Letters for the bird, the bush (it is behind all the flowers), and sweet summer and George for the flowers)

**incorporate a yellow button somewhere in it (I've got a big one and several small ones along with a lot of other colors)

The paper is from the Basic Grey Lime Rickey 6 X 6 paper pack.

It is very eclectic and a little outside my normal style but I'm going to put it on my door at work! Just a way to have some art on my door! Maybe it will make someone smile!

I guess this also qualifies for the Pile It On Challenge because this weeks is to have 4 buttons ~ I'm new to that challenge ~ not sure how many times you can post something on it! But I'm on a roll with buttons and challenges this week!

Another Bitten By the Bug Contest Entry!

I had so much fun with my other entry that I decided to do another one (you can do 2 and they are due tonight at midnight!).

This is for my sister Darleen's birthday (not till end of July so whoo hoo I'm ready early!).

I used patterned paper from Basic Grey Lime Rickey. It's Your Day and the silhouette flowers are from the George Cricut cartridge. The ribbon was a little piece of leftover from my silverwood books. The little bird is a quickutz revolution. On top of the flowers I put these little foam beads that I found at Michaels tonight. They looked very cool and worked out great with the flowers!

Thanks for having such a great contest! It was fun and it helped motivate me to get a couple projects done!
